Carla Jones
A logistics maven, Carla Jones has made the world her production office. Whether knee-deep in jungle muck or glacial moraine, she possesses the skill and innovative style needed to successfully execute even the most complex production. Ms. Jones has overseen sprawling, complex television productions in Alaska, Borneo, New Zealand, Fiji and Canada and across the United States. Pragmatic, resourceful, creative and experienced in all aspects of production, Ms. Jones is exceptionally adept at adapting.
Ms. Jones honed her skills in the field while working closely with Mark Burnett (Executive Producer - Survivor and Eco-Challenge). Prior to joining Eco-Challenge Productions, she specialized in high-adventure, remote location work in Alaska. Ms. Jones’ most recent credits include No Opportunity Wasted Canada, a ten-part series for CBC, The Second City’s Next Comedy Legend, an eight-part series for the CBC, Break It Down, a six-part HD series for Discovery Channel Canada, Street Racing, a two-part HD special for Discovery Channel International, and No Opportunity Wasted, a 13-part HD series for Discovery Channel in the US.
Responsible for numerous high-production value projects from concept through completion, Ms. Jones brings experience in creative, budgeting, scheduling, crew management, out-source contracting, location management and logistics.
From ocean kayaking in the China Sea to ice climbing in the Alaska Range; from jungle trekking across Viti Levu in the South Pacific to Drifting in the mountains outside Kobe, Japan; from whitewater rafting beneath Mt. Cook to marathon mountain biking in Whistler, B.C., Ms. Jones has applied her logistical expertise to the pursuit of great stories.Select Credits
